Theatre Friends

Discover new performances together and organize theatre evenings without stress.

Proposing performances

Members of the group can suggest performances they would like to see. They create an event without a specific date marked as "might happen". Others can then express their interest:

  • Going — I'm very interested
  • Maybe — depends on the date or other plans
  • Not going — not interested

Based on these responses the group can decide whether it makes sense to start looking for tickets.

Organizing the theatre evening

Once there is enough interest, a final event with a specific date and venue can be created. Participants confirm attendance so the organizer knows how many tickets to reserve.

Dinner or other plans

Additional activities can easily be added to the event — for example dinner before the show or drinks afterwards. The event chat helps coordinate the details.

Splitting costs

If someone buys tickets for the whole group or pays for the restaurant reservation, the expenses can be recorded in the event. Groufr then automatically calculates who owes what.
